Happy Easter to you all.
Yesterday Gill and I went along to a local dementia care home and helped the residents make an Easter card.
Fun was had by us all Here is a picture of the card we designed for them to make up.
The flower is from the mixed bunch stamp set and the embossing folder is the oh so versatile honeycomb one from the latest Spring Summer mini catalogue from Stampin' Up!
Well have a lovely bank holiday weekend everyone and here's hoping the Easter bunny arrives at mine on Sunday :)
Have fun

Scallop Trim Border and Corner Punches
I played with left over pieces of cardstock to make these cards.
My Special Day, Forever Young, Curly Cute and Delightful Dozen stamp sets. Obviously, I used the 2 Scallop Trim punches as well as the Modern Label and Corner punches.
The following card I used both the Scallop and Hearts from the Adorning Accents Folders, Stitched Satin Ribbon, discontinued satin ribbon and Rhinestones to complete.

The Lattice Bigz Die
I love this die just like all the others and played around with different ideas.
Using the whole image on it's own and sticking 2 together I've got two different effects. For the first 3 I used stamps from; Bring on the Cake, For My Family, My Friend and Papaya Collage. Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Finishing Touches Edgelits, Stripes Embossing Folder, a piece of Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Rhinestones and Pearls finish these off. The flower on the bird card is made from the pieces that came out of the lattice die.
The next 4 cards were made by cutting into the Lattice.
The stamps used for them were; Perfect Postage, Petite Pairs, Creative Elements, Curly Cute and Delightful Dozen. Chevron Embossing Folder, Delicate Doilies Sizzlits as well as Scallop Square, Modern Label, Itty Bitty Shapes, Postage Stamp and 1" Square punches. Crochet Trim, Stitched Satin and Striped Organdy Ribbons topped off with Rhinestones and Pearls.

The Large Scallop Circle Edgelits Die
I started playing with my new die and found that putting 2 die cuts together I've made the following cards.
I used the Decorative label punch, Delightful Dozen, Pleasant Poppies, For My Family, Create A Cupcake and Creative Elements stamp sets, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Rhinestones, Pearls and a touch of ribbon finish these off.
Here is how I did it
After cutting one scallop I laid the die on the cardstock to match with the previous one. Post it notes are brilliant for holding the dies in place.
Doing this several times the scallops all matched and I chopped off the edges and have 4 separate scallops.
By overlapping and gently twisting the pieces over each other I got this lovely border. You can twist each scallop or every other one to get a slightly different effect.
I think that mixing different colours looks really effective too.
I hope this inspires you to play too!

Well i do hope all you mum's out there had a lovely Mothering Sunday ;)
I for one was treated and had a great day with my mum and my children :) Big thanks to them all for a fun day.
Here's the card I made for mothers day in 2 colour ways using the absolutely gorgeous Swallowtail large single stamp from Stampin' Up! spring summer mini catalogue
The colour schemes are both simple monochromatic ones in rich razzleberry and pacific point.
The layers are created but cutting your white layers and carefully placing one on top of the other and stamping over the layers then matting each layer on a mat that is 1/2 or 1 cm wider than the white mat then each layer is mounted on top of one and other and onto a card blank.
I finished the cards with the word Mum from the for my family stamp set and the small butterfly is from papillion potpourri punched out using the bitty butterfly punch.
Well We are having a snow day here and I am about to go and design the make make and take project for our up coming craft fare in Warnham village hall on saturday the 23rd of March from 11 am till 3pm.
So if you'd like to come and have a play then please come along and say hi to Gill and I coz we'll be there!!!!!
Have fun

Paper Doilies
This is my Grand-daughter Olivia's birthday card. 14 years old already!
(Yes, she is still very much into Pink)!
I can't add this to the blog until her birthday as she often looks in!
Melon Mambo, Whisper White and Pretty in Pink (embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder) cardstock for this one.
The doily is fixed to the large Scallop Circle Bigz Die cut with the Designer Builder Brad. A punch of Melon Mambo on the brad and an epoxy bubble on top. Happy Birthday message is from Curly Cute stamp set. I've layered Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink (discontinued) 3.2mm Taffeta ribbon onto a piece of Whisper White organza ribbon. The Scallop Trim Border punch and Rhinestones finish this one off.
