Lovely Lipstick-Day 3

I made a double fold card this time.
Using Basic Black, Lovely Lipstick  and 2 small strips of paper, once again from Broadway Bound.

I tried to keep through pictures straight skills that the paper design matches on both sides.

The images are from Bubbles and Fizz stamps.

I plaited 3 pieces of new Rose Metallic Thread and used Dimensionals behind the circles to stick and hold thd thread on.

A figure 8 with the Thread around the circles holds the card closed.

Lovely Lipstick - Day 2

Today's card is another very simple one.
I used a piece of DSP from Broadway Bound papers. A whole package with foiled  images on one side and the other has more lovely designs.

ThEmma papers are heavyweight papers so stand really well.
One of the pieces that I trimmed off, I've cut into 2 strips and placed them either side of the message.

As I said earlier, a very easy card.

I finished this  one off by adding some of the gems from the New Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems.

Weekly Inspiration.

Lovely Lipstick

Hello, welcome back.
Cary made some really lovely projects last week.
This week is a bit different for me as I'm posting via my mobile!
The reason that my pc is poorly! It's with the repairers now so I'm just hoping it still has lots of life in it!
Anyway, I've been playing with Lovely Lipstick. One of the  Stampin' Up! new In Colors.

Whisper White and Lovely Lipstick ink and cardstock. Then 1 and 1/2" and
1 and 3/4" circle punches.
The Black Stampin' write Marker pen was used for the faux 'stitches'.

A very simple image where I stamped and coloured then fussy cut it out.
 Raised up using Dimensionals.

I added some of the new Rose Metallic Thread to add a little sparkle.

Thank you for stopping by.

Hand delivered rainbow....

Who wouldn't feel better if you were given a bunch of rainbow balloons????
I paper pieced  the balloons to give a strong colourful image and then heat embossed with white embossing powder to create the highlights on them. For the inside of the card I stamped a rainbow of flowers to carry on the theme . I hope this card makes you smile it certainly brightened my day 🌈🌈🌈

Congratulations....

Congratulations cards are such fun to make and today's card was also messy so for me that's a win win 😁😁. I used the the lovely new pearlized doilies as a mask to create a background .The doillies are pearlized on one side and plain white on the other allowing them to be coloured.  I daubered coastal cabana ink through the doilie onto costal cabana card stock  to give a tone on tone pattern. I then placed a piece of vellum over to soften it further. The other lovely thing about the doilies is that they can be cut apart to create different beautiful shapes.

Graduation..

Today's card is a gift card for someone who is graduating. The colours are bold and bright and include one called Mango Melody!!! What a fab name for a colour 😁 this bright yet warm shade of orange really brightens any project it's made with in my opinion!
The gift element comes on the inside. A 3"×3" envelope is used as a money holder...Just what every graduate needs at the end of their studies!!! Lol

One of the great things about hosting a Stampin Up workshop/party is that you can get FREE yes FREE stuff!!! Some off the free product are exclusive stamps which can only be obtained this way! This week I will be featuring one of these exclusive set called Hand Delivered . The set is a 2 step stamping set that has a whole host of uses from birthday to graduation to get well!!
I've also show cased some of the beautiful new colours that Stampin Up have introduced in the new colour revamp.  To add mord detail to the card ive put them thorough a new textured embossing folder called Subtle. It give a fabulous gentle texture to the card that  gives the card a sdifferent and look that enhances it beautifully  in my opinion. To see all the new colours have a look at page 4 of the new annual catalogue .☺

DSP - Day 5

My last project this week is special for me.
Last year I had the immense pleasure of watching a very
dear friend Julie and her fiance' Russell getting married for the 1st time.
They had a beautiful blessing in Spain the following week and this is from there.

I placed the photo onto a sheet of DSP from the Tranquil Textures papers.
Then just fussy cut several flowers and leaves from another sheet.

I've had the picture in the frame for a while now but wasn't happy enough with it.

Now I am.
Julie and Russell 9th September 2017
I love you both. xxx

DSP -  Day 4

Today, I made some thing completely different!
I made boxes!

This one is called a Pinwheel Box
The one I saw was made by Julie DiMatteo or the Paper Pixie.

This starts as a square of paper and is folded using the Envelope Score Board.

This next one again I found on Pinterest and just love it.
It was also made by Julie DiMatteo or the Paper Pixie.
Beautiful effect and lovely box.
This is made using a piece of paper 5 and 3/4 inches by 11 inches.

Top View

This is a diamond shaped box made from a 2" by 12" strip of paper.

It is folded into triangles and can be suspended by punching a hole through the top of the last point.

This box was amazing. It just folds into itself!

It is made using a piece of paper that measures 10 and 7/8 inches by 7 and 5/8 inches.
Isn't that just gorgeous? NO GLUE!!

The one I made is a from a design by Linda Parker.
I hope you like all of today's boxes?
I am not usually one for making boxex...I think I've changed my mind!
