Boy is it hot here today ! I'm just not built for this kind of heat in my well insulated for cold weather house 🔥 but on the plus side the sky is blue and the light is amazing 😃 as the song says "always look on the brightside" after all 😝. So back to the real important stuff the crafting... today's inspiration is a tiered wiper card . This kinetic card has surprise elements that are sure to appeal to all. And of course let's not forget the adorable critters in the Wild bunch stamp set.
These cuties are only available whilst stocks last as a part of the Product of the Month from Stampin' Up! So run don't walk!
Now for the measurements to create this card you'll need...
Cardstock pieces measuring 14.85cm x 10.5cm (4¼" x 5½"), 10.5cm x 12.4cm ( 4¼" x 4½"), 10.5cm x 9.85cm ( 4¼" x 3½"), and 10.5cm x 7.4cm ( 4¼" x 2½"). The panels will the tiered part of the card.
For the wiper mechanisms you'll need 3 pieces each measuring 3cm x 17cm ( 1⅛" x 6¾") each scored at 2cm, 7.5cm, 9.5cm, and 15cm ( ¾", 3", 3¾" and 6"). Then you need to mark at 1.5cm ( ⅝") either side of the 9.5cm ( 3¾") scoreline as well as 1.5cm ( ⅝") down from the top of the same scoreline. Next score from the left-hand mark to the center mark and the right-hand mark to the center mark to create a V shaped score as shown below.
You'll also need 3 pieces of cardstock each measuring 1cm x 7cm (⅜" x 2¾"). These will become the wiper arms and can be trimmed to suit once the card is assembled.
Watch the video below to see how easily this card comes together ❤️
This is such a fun card that can be decorated in so many ways to suit all themes and ages from balloons to flowers to sentiments to names... so many ideas! 💡
How will you decorate yours?
However you decide to play always remember to...
Have Fun

Disclaimer Please be aware that the inches version is for North American Letter size cardstock and as a English woman I use cm's and A4 cardstock which are both different sizes! I have tried my best to ensure the the North American version is correct but if I've made a mistake please let me know so it can be corrected.

DeleteI made it with the Silly Old Bear DSP and the Wild Bunch for the pop outs. I only did a half circle of white colored like a blue sky with wispy clouds for the sentiment of Happy Birthday. My pop outs ended up going out to the right cuz my mechanisms were cocky. I didn't have room for the snail on the circle so he's on the back with a blue sparkly trail behind him. Would love to send a pic to you.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds amazing 👏 please share a photo on this Facebook post https://www.facebook.com/reel/1720005265971767/
