Unicorns and Myths and Magic...

We all  like to indulge in a little fantasy some times so a card featuring a mythical beast such as a unicorn is just perfect for those whimsical events in our lives 😉
The Unicom the front is fussy cut from one of the sheets of paper in the fantastic Myths and Magic speciality designer series paper . The background paper is also from the pack. The  stamped sentiment on the front and inside are from the co ordinating stamp set called Magical Day . Both the paper's, stamps and coordinating dies are from Stampin Up.

Delightful Daisy ....

Sometimes it's nice  to send a card but sometimes we really should send a card..Thank you means so very much and a handmade card shows just how much we appreciate the person we're appreciative of! So  today's project shows  not 1 but 2 cards that I'll be sending to show my appreciation. The cards also feature the oh so pretty Delightful Daisy designer series paper.

#loveitchopit.....

This week is a kind of mash up week I'm both using sketches to help me create quick cards and as it's nearly time for to say goodbye to the designer series papers in the annual Stampin Up catalogue I thought I'd #loveitchopit . The idea behind the #loveitchopit is to use the beautiful paper we buy rather than keeping it and just admiring It!! Now I know I'm guilty of this so this week is going to be good for Me!! Lol  if you see a paper you like them please  click the link to the shop and have look at all the beautiful paper there is 😊
This first card features the beautiful Eastern Palace speciality designer series paper.

Magical Day

My last card this week is made with this lovely stamp set.
I have waited for years for a set with a dragon and here it is.
Sadly it's not staying in the new catalogue.
So, if you want it too, follow the link to our shop at the side and buy it while you still can.
You only have until 31st May to get anything that you need before it retires.

I used Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Whisper White cardstock and Bermuda Bay ink pad.
I embossed the Pool Party mat with the Seaside embossing folder.
The plants were made from very small strips of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and I added some of the leaves from Bouquet Bunch framelits dies.

I used Amazing You stamp set from Saleabration for the words over the card but
haven't added any message on the inside as yet.

I love the little mermaids which were coloured in using the Watercolour pencils and die cut them with the
Magical Mates framelits dies.
Thank you for popping by this week.
Please have a look next week as Cary has some beautiful projects to show you.

Z fold card

This one today is again a simple card.
This time it's a Z fold card with a matching Z fold over.

I used Powder Pink, Smoky Slate and Whisper White card stock this time.

I used Amazing You stamp set which was free during Saleabration.
I stamped the flower all over the pink mats in Powder Pink. Then using Berry Burst I stamped the flowers out several time and fussy cut them out.

I embossed the Smoky Slate cardstock with the Brick wall embossing folder and reversing the
Z fold added this to the front of the card.
I LOVE this stamp set... but then I love most of them!

Wednesday, 2 May 2018

The card today is another very simple one again.
I used Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist and Whisper White cardstock
and some of the left over card from Salebration.

Using the scallop die from Seasonal Layers Framelits I cut the bottom off the base of the mat at an angle.
I stuck a piece of DSP from the Picture Perfect DSP stack under the mat.

Using the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies, I die cut each in Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist.
I like the layered effect it makes.

These were stuck together and onto the card using Dimensionals to raise them.

The message on the inside is from Birthday Wit. Sadly another stamp set that is retiring.
So don't forget to click on the link at the side to take you to our shop where you can buy those
items that you've been putting off buying.
Don't forget you only have until 31st May.

Tuesday, 1 May 2018

Today's card I did a little bit of die cutting onto some of the
amazing foiled papers from this year's Salebration.

I die cut the shapes from Bermuda Bay, Peekaboo Peach and Pool Party
cardstock and stuck them inside the apertures that I cut earlier.

This is not my design but I have seen several cards made similar to this one.

A really lovely effect this makes and I will be making more in this way.

The Rhinestones and the message to finish off is from Picture Perfect Birthday
which I'm pleased to say is staying in the new catalogue.
