Sketches - Day 3

Today is a very simple card using just simple graduating circles.
I asked my daughter in law for 2 colours and she chose
Balmy Blue and Petal Pink cardstock and Ink pads.
I added Whisper White as the neutral colour

The circles were 2 and a quarter inches down to 1 and a half inch.

Just simply stamped using a NEW stamp set called Varied Vases in the new annual
Stampin' Up! catalogue.
The stamp set design was inspired by one of the Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrators,
Mary Fish at Stampin Pretty

I added some green using the Granny Apple Green. Another new colour recently
added to our collections.
Birthday Wishes is also fromt the Varied Vases stamp set and was punched out using the Classic Label punch.
It also has a gorgeous matching punch that coordinates with the set.

A simple message from the same stamp set inside to finish off.
This is the Sketch that inspired me to make my card.

Thank you for stopping by today.
Please pop in tomorrow to see what I make for the blog.

Sketches - Day 2

today I have used some more of the New colors that
Stampin' Up! have recently bought out to the range.
For this one, I have teamed Gorgeous Grape with the lovely sharp Granny Apple Green.
Beautiful together!

Starting with the Green card base I added an embossed Whisper White mat that I embossed
with Oh My Stars embossing folder.
I stamped the message onto White card using Birthday Wishes For You stamp set
then chopped it into 4!

Mounting the 4 pieces onto the gorgeous Grape and mounting that with Dimensionals.

I added the terrace rails from the Stained Glass Thinlits dies and a strip of Old Olive Sheer Ribbon.
It goes really well I think.

Here is the Sketch that inspired me for this one.
Thank you

Weekly Inspiration

Sketches

this week I am showing some projects made using other peoples ideas or sketches.
The idea of sketches is great as we in Stampin' Up! call it caseing.
We Copy and Share Everything.
Sadly not all card makers like their projects to be cased but luckily Cary and I do.
Anyway, here is my first card.

This started off as n A5 card base but I felt that it was lost.
So I cut it in half!
I used some of the New In Color cardstock and DSP. This is Call Me Clover (the green)
and 2018/2020 Designer Series Paper. I also added a daisy using some of the Grapefruit Grove cardstock, which is also an In Color.
In Colors are extra colors that Stampin' Up! bring in every 2 years and these are 2 of the 5 colours
we will have for the next 2 years.

I used thick Whisper White cardstock for the card base which was embossed with the Seaside TIEF Embossing Folder

Using the gorgeous Daisy punch, I punched 3 daisies. 1 in Whisper White, 1 in DSP and the last in the Grapefruit Grove cardstock. The DSP daisy was cut down to show a different height in the flower.

I only sealed the outer edges of the Call Me Clover cardstock
to enable the tab card or a gift card to be placed.

Here is the card that inspired me.
It was designed by Stamplorations.blogspot
Thank you. xxx

Apologies

We are so sorry for the lack of inspiration from the last few weeks.
Sadly, Cary's dad passed away suddenly and she has been in Spain sorting everything out.
I have been doing my other love for the last few weeks, sewing.
So apologies again.
We're back now though!!
Please pop by and see what's in store over the next few weeks.
