Do you like the watercolour wash look but want a more controlled way to achieve it? Well I think I might have a tip for you.....cling film, ( also called cling wrap or saran wrap) and Stampin' Write markers. Place the piece of cling film over the piece of card you are going to use. Now using the markers laydown three lines of colour, be quite generous with it. Gently move the cling film to the side. Now take an aquapainter and apply droplets of water to you're card. (Please use shimmery white or watercolour paper) next take the cling film and flip it over so the marker is facing the paper and lower it onto the card. Now using your fingertips spread the colour out. When your happy gently lift the cling film off. If you have any runs gently dab with the corner of a paper towel to wick the excess up. And voila a lovely watercolour background 😊 For my sample I used Lovely Lipstick, Calypso Coral and Flirty Flamingo markers. Whem it was dry I stamped all over with the flower from Beautiful Day stamp set in versamark and heat embossed in copper powder.
