Do you like colouring in? Or is it just not your thing? Although some of you just won't understand why you don't like to colour in today's inspiration has got your back. Today's technique is one that requires no colouring in but still give colour to the adorable images in the Sweet Peas stamp set 🫛 .
So what's the technique? Well it's super simple, quick and works with most colouring mediums. It's called....scribbling! Sounds messy and child like? Well it is and it isn't. This scribbling is done with purpose and isn't really messy at all unless you want to use a wet watercolour medium. I've used Stampin' Up! Blends which are alcohol markers but any colouring medium will work.
Rather than talk about it let's have a look at the card....
This simple colouring technique is fun and achievable for all ages. You just have to remember to not over think it if you're an experienced crafter 😜
The inside of the card shows the same technique but on a slightly larger scale. It shows that this works with many sizes of scribbles and stamps.
Any open line art stamps work very well with this technique but with a little thought more solid images may work too. Just give it a go!
