Do you ever make a card then are so happy with the front that you just don't want to add a sentiment ? Well that's what happened with today's card! Do you like hydrangeas? I sure do... growing them on the other hand not so successful 😝 So as soon as I saw the gorgeous Thankful Garden bundle I just knew I'd have yo have it! This bundle is especially fun as it contains not only stamps and coordinating dies but masks to make colouring the flowers sooo easy! That being said today's card has been coloured using alcohol markers 😝
So today's inspiration is a clean and fresh design where the flower does all the talking.
Next take a mat measuring 14.4cm x 10cm then using the fabulous Mini corrugated 3d embossing folder run it through your cut and emboss machine. Then bring your trimmer back in and cut a rectangle from the center of this panel by cutting by measuring 2cm in from each side. Don't discard the rectangle you'll use it later.
Stamp, colour then die cut out the gorgeous hydrangea and die cut another in plain cardstock. I've used thick basic white cardstock for all this card but you may wish to choose to use coloured.
Adhere the corrugated panel on the card front . Now take the rectangle that you saved and adhere it through the appature onto the inside of the card base.
Then carefully adhere the hydrangea at the points that it meets the frame. Adhere the plain die cut shape from the inside of the card to stabilise the hydrangea and the card front.
The inside is where I chose to add my sentiment . Stamp the sentiment onto a small mat of cardstock and carefully position the petals it so that they don't show from the front.
