On my weekly Facebook live on Monday I made a card using a suite of products called Painterly Pears. This suite is an online exclusive and wasn't one that straight away spoke to me.... but once I gave in and brought it... Wow was I in for a surprise! It's gorgeous 😍 it's a stunning mix of florals and pears. The colour palette is deep and scrumptious.
(The measurements for this card are in metric only this time as there are plenty of tutorials in inches 🤭) start with a piece of cardstock measuring 14.85cm x 21cm. With the cardstock in a portrait fashion mark where you want the solid panel to finish. In the video I marked at 7cm. Then rotate the cardstock to a landscape orientation and score at 2cm, 4cm and 7.5cm up to the line you marked. Next score at 10.5cm all the way across the cardstock. Finally score at 16.5cm up to the marked line. Then rotate the cardstock to a portrait orientation and cut along the marked line between the first and last scorelines. Fold the scorelines from the 2cm one starting with a mountain fold then a valley, then a mountain, valley and finally a mountain fold.
Watching the video below will make sense of the measurements and instructions 😉
In the video I also share how I coloured the pears.I hope you'll give this fun fold a go and maybe have another look at those papers and stamps that you're just not sure about another chance. You never know they might end up being a pleasant surprise 😀
