Fun Fold Friday - Kits

Friday is here all ready and it's time for me to show you my last few cards of this kit. I say last but I still have enough to make another 5 or 6, so I will keep going to complete the set.

Using the very underrated kits from Stampin' Up! I have so far made 15 cards with a kit complete to make 10 cards. Even the envelopes are able to be used for decorating the cards. The cards in the kit at 11 by 8.5cm are not very large so in our group at the weekend, we made them into C6 cards. We included 10 A4 sheets of card stock including 2 white, a length of ribbon and C6 envelopes. It has been a really amazing way to use the kit. As I said yesterday, I use them all of the time. They are so very useful in so many ways, not just to make my own designs or style of cards but to make them as intended. Simply and very easily.

I always treat myself to the card kits every time they are issued. I just love the ideas and designs Stampin' Up! come up with. Perfect!

Only 1 fun fold today and it's a simple Z fold with a mat and turned vertically! I used Forever Blossoms for the images and messages on this one and the last card is Darling Donkeys one of the amazing FREE Saleabration stamp sets.

The new Stampin' Up! catalogue will be coming out at the beginning of MAY, so if you live in the UK, please contact us for a catalogue HERE

It will open up a new window for you so that you don't loose your page. Throwback Thursday - Kits

Hello again, today's cards are carrying on from this week's posts on using a Stampin' Up! card kit. This is the Sweet Little Valentine Cards and More kit and at under £10 was an absolute bargain. The card and colours are beautiful and so very versatile. Just perfect!

Stampin Up! have made several kits over the years and I personally love them. Whether it is for inspiration to make something so special for that special someone or any other occasion that you would need a card for. These kits are incredible in value, quality, content in fact...everything! I just LOVE them all.

As I make card so regularly for all sorts of events, I sometimes get confused in what to make. I say that I've lost my mojo or I can't think of anything to make. I take a kit and within a short space of time I am changing things, thinking outside of the box as they say. They really do inspire me in so many ways. Cary isn't a kit kind of person but over the last couple of years even she has found such great pleasure in using them and getting so much from them. Please give them a try and look out for them in the NEW and updated catalogue coming out in MAY! Not long now 😁😁😁

Live in the UK? Please contact us for your own copy of the catalogue as soon as it's available.

The card above shows where I cut of the corners off a whole card. The centre to the outer corners were removed and I added the mats and a piece of gold foiled card and a piece of Pool Party sheer ribbon to decorate.

This one above, I've used a card front and cut it in half. I added it to the sides of the and added the pretty, printed, message mat to add a flower and a simple message to complete it.

Wednesday wonders - Kits

Hello and welcome back. I know that I'm supposed to be watercolouring today but I'm not going to this week. I know, I'm being rather naughty and going off piste! However, following on from Monday and Tuesday's posts I'm continuing to show some of the cards that I made with the Sweet Little Valentine cards and more kit. It is the most inexpensive kit I have seen but it's so very versatile. We ALL made completely different cards at the weekend and everyone was really enjoying themselves doing them.

First is a picture of the actual kit. At under £10 for the whole kit, all we added was 10 A4 sheets of card including white and we were all sorted. Sadly, they are now all sold out but please don't flip past kits in the future, they are absolutely amazing and very well worth the investment however much they may be!

Here are today's makes.

On some I have included the mats as they come in the kit and this last one, I actually placed the whole card on the front and popped a little Ladybug trinket that I had to hold it closed. I love those little ladybirds. That's what we call them in the UK.
