For my final card of the week I am sharing a very simple fun fold card.
All you need is a single piece of cardstock measuring 14.85cm x 21cm.
Now score the card at 10.5cm. Next mark along the score line and the bottom edge of the card at 4cm in from each side.
Now cut up the 4cm lines to the 10.5cm score line.
And all that is left is to secure the right and left hand panels to the back of the card.
Next decorate as desired.
As It's the end of the week I thought I should complete the week with some more Timeless Tulips so I fussy cut the small tulips and set them upon the vine die cut. 😊
The panel to write on can be either on the back of the card or behind the center panel.
Well that's it for me this week.
Please join Gill next week as she shares her inspiration with us all.
Have a nice weekend
Have fun
Cary xx

Throwback Thursday ....
For today's Throwback Thursday card I've used a stamp set called Sharing Sweet Thoughts from the 2017/18 Stampin Up annual catalogue.
I loved this set not only because it's very cute but also because it was the set chosen to be the one to support a charity, Ronald McDonald house.
I love that as papercrafters we can use our stamps and paper to help support others in so many ways.
For today's sample I've teamed up the Sharing Sweet Thoughts with the Timeless Tulips to create a card with a real feeling of spring and a sentiment that is sure to make the recipient feel cared for.

Watercolour Wednesday..
What's your favourite watercolour medium? Pencils? Reinkers? Ink pads? Marker pens? Do you use a paintbrush or an aquapainter or a blender pen?
Sooo many choices and sooo many ways to use them!!!
Today I'm sharing a card I made that uses watercolour pencils and an aquapainter. What is unusual is that I've used them over a stamped image to give a different look.
It's very easy to do . I've used the Timeless Tulips stamps again and stamped the small tulip in Highland Heather. ( see tulip marked A)
Then I took the Pacific Point pencil and added a few light lines using the lines in the stamped image as a guide. Next I used the aquapainter to blend the lines out. ( see tulip marked B)
Now I added some gorgeous grape pencil shading and blended it in. ( see tulip marked C)
Now I took the basic black pencil and went over the outer lines of the petals. And used he White pencil to add highlights. ( see tulip marked D)
I followed the same process for the leaves bit used pear pizzazz ink and pacific point, granny apple green, basic black and white watercolour pencils.
I'm no artist but this way to use watercolour made me feel quite artistic!!!
Do you like to water colour? What tools do you prefer to use?

Tips, Tricks and Techniques Tuesday...
So today I have a little tip to share with you it's not rocket science but it might just save you a lot of frustration.....well it does me 😂😂😂
I saw this great technique on the internet and thought it was a wow. You take the tulip stamp and ink it up in one colour and stamp it. Then you take a darker colour ink and a dauber and apply the ink to bottom of the stamp and up the outer edges of the petals. Now stamp ontop of the already stamped image. Placement is helped because the Timeless Tulips set is a photopolymer set.
I loved the effect that this technique gives and the colour options are limitless! And this is where my little tip comes in when you find pleasing colour combos stamp them onto a piece of spare card and note down what colours you've used. Then store them in the stamp set box along with the stamps for future reference.
So simple but saves lots of frustration later trying to remember what you did!!

Make it Simple Monday..
Wow what a weekend!!...Gill's grandson arrive, such a cuteie pie 💙....we held a fun filled all day class on Saturday, 18 lively ladies in one room crafting is a real recipe for lots of laughter!!...and then on Sunday we held one of our regular team get togethers, we like to craft and chat and eat cake together a lot!!.
So all in all a busy busy time! Which makes today's inspiration really relevant ... Make it Simple Monday!!
I've used a stamp set called Timeless Tulips from Stampin Up and created a simple single image card that was very quick to create and if I do say so myself quite elegant in it's simplicity.
I hope you all had a good weekend and the start to this week is a good one for all.
See you tomorrow with more inspiration.

Fun Fold Friday
Today's card was made earlier this week as my lovely daughter-in-law is going into hospital today for a Cesarean Section with my new Grandson.
I will try to be precise but forgive me if I miss something!!
I have made another card with the same fold as 2 weeks ago. I understand some have requested instructions for this so here we go. I used the lovely FREE Saleabration stamp set called
Little Ladybug. This gorgeous set is so cute.
I used Real Red card stock and papers from the Golden Honey, Speciality Designer Series Paper.
My finished card ready for my friends birthday in 2 weeks time.
I have been asked how I get the deer in the last one to stand up. I left about 1cm at the base of the image and folded it. I cut a slot near where the magnet is and after adding glue to the piece, I slipped it into the slot. This time I have added 3 standing items.
They all fold flat, perfectly for slipping into an envelope. You can use a DL shaped envelope.
In this position, the card measures 8" x 4" or 20cm x 10cm
In this position the card measures 4" x 4" or 10cm x 10cm depending how you wish to fold it.
The envelopes will need to be a fraction larger than the card but this is the size that the
card will be once folded.

Throw Back Thursday
Hello, today I have made a card similar to one that I made many years ago.
Hopefully this is an improvement!
I used the FREE Saleabration stamp set called Thoughtful Blooms. It has 17 different images and messages. I love it! More information about Saleabration at the bottom of this post.
I used a C6 Whisper White mat and stamped the trellis stamps along the edge a few times and then the leaf fronds. I then embossed this and a Sahara Sand card base with Brick and Mortar Embossing Folder. It gives a really deep image. On a separate piece of Whisper White, I stamped a number of the flowers in Mango Melody Ink, then fussy cut them out.
A simple Thank You message in a 3/4" circle on a 1" circle in Sahara Sand circle on the front and the inside was another simple message and a few more flowers completes this one.

Watercolour Wednesday
Hello again. I don't know about you but I love the art of water colouring. It is so relaxing, just swishing a water brush across a piece of paper and making it come alive with colour.
Today is another card made using a Saleabration stamp set.
More information about Saleabration at the end of the post.
A lot of people think that you have to use Watercolour paper all of the time, I don't believe you do.
This card is made using the stamp set called Lovely Lily Pad.
There are also dies that can be earned for Free which coordinate with this stamp set.
