A fun fold inspired by a fun fold is thos weeks project! I saw an amazing fold called the Inside Out card by the talented Sam from Mixed Up Crafts. I was inspired to recreate it using metric measurements as Sam works in inches and I don't 😜. Whilst recreating Sam's card I was inspired to create a different version which I'm sharing here. This version is a DL version, I think that you lovely people across the pond call this size and shape a slim line card that fits in a business envelope. To decorate the card I just had the use the oh so cute Woolly Friends bundle. This is a stamp and punch bundle that is an all time favourite for me!
I also used the fun Easter Joy pattern paper to decorate this fun card.
The card starts with 2 pieces of cardstock. The first measuring 20.8cm x 21cm scored at 9.9cm and 19.8cm ( 7⅜" x 8½" scored at 3½" and 7") The second piece should measure 10.9cm x 21cm scored at 9.9cm ( 3 ⅞" x 8½" scored at 3½").
There are so many ways that this unusual, but really rather easy fun fold , can be decorated. My mind is still sparking ideas for it!
Also the card does fold flat for postage which is a bonus 😉

Don't you think some card designs just come with the longest names? 🤣 Andoy does the one I'm sharing today! Called a triple diagonal easel card.. what a mouthful 😝 but it's well worth the name for this is a real wow card to make as well as recieve! The samples today are made using 2 different but equally cute critters. The one made during the video below is made using the oh so adorable Woolly Friends stamp and punch bundle.
This oh so cute card starts with a piece of cardstock measuring 21cm x 19.8cm scored at 9.9cm. This creates a tall narrow card that fits into a DL envelope.
Next cut up one side of your cardbase , making sure that the 21cm edge is to the top of your trimmer, at 7cm and 14cm up to the scoreline. This creates 3 flaps on the card front.
Then score each flap diagonally from the top right corner to the center scoreline of the card base.
Then decorate as desired. As you watch the video below you will see that the 3rd woolly friend is a different colour! Whilst on the Facebook live I couldn't decide but have since changed my woolly friend from lemon lolly yellow to Shy Shamrock green 😜 which do you prefer?
The next sample I'm sharing today is made exactly the same way but this time with the fun Turtle-y Cute pattern papers.
The card is made with the US imperial measurements. Start with a piece of cardstock measuring 8¼" x 7½" scored at 3¾".
The cuts are made at 2¾" and 5½". They are scored in exactly the same manner as for the metric version.
This version is decorated entirely using the pattern papers. All the characters and embellishments are fussy cut from the same sheet of paper!

A fun fold card using fun stamps is such a fun way to spend time! It's also a good way to get inspiration to carry forward with other bits from your stash. This is exactly what happened with the projects shared here today! It started with a fun fold card for a class that then inspired me to switch it up and create a totally different fun fold card! First I made the new fold using the Hobby Haven pattern papers.
These fun papers are filled with fun images and 2 sheets of die cut elements making projects super easy to achieve!
The card starts out with a standard book opening A6 card base. ( cardstock measuring 14.85cm x 21cm scored at 10.5cm) .
You're going to the cut a piece of pattern paper measuring 14.4cm x 20cm. ( make sure to have the pattern going in the right direction 😉). Now keeping the folded edge at the top, you then need to mark a line at 2cm up from the bottom open edge . Next cut from the fold down to the pencil line at 2.5cm in on both the right and left side through both layers of paper.
Now score at 2cm and 4cm in the center are between the cut lines as shown below. The scorelines should go through both layers of the paper but if they don't just turn the paper over and repeat the scoring. The scorelines are folded as a mountain then a valley on both sides.
The front of the card is decorated using pieces from the paper pack as well as the coordinating Creative Haven bundle.
The papers cover all sorts of activities that are sure to bring you peace and tranquility as well as creativity.
The fold is based off a center stepper card so you could call it an alternative stepper fold card.
To decorate the front of this card I have used a wobble to add even more fun to the card.
This piece of these stunning papers has beautiful holographic splashes over it and a watercolour wash effect with a gorgeous pink, blue and purple colour palette.
The cute characters are just adorable don't you agree?

Do you ever wish that you could think of a shorter name for something? Well that's exactly the problem I have with the card that I'm sharing today! Made using the beautiful Floral Charm pattern papers this fun fold isn't a difficult as the long name would suggest 😉 Called a center diamond pop out card it really is a fun easy one to create!
The pretty Floral Charm papers coordinate with the Charming Day stamps and Charming Day dies . I have used these to decorate my card. Now these stamps and dies are currently on the last chance list here in the UK so if they float your boat don't wait check them out now !
The card starts with a piece of cardstock measuring 14.85cm x 28cm scored at 8cm, 14cm and 20cm. Next mark with a pencil at 11cm and 17cm top and bottom. Then score diagonally from the top left mark to the bottom right mark. Now score diagonally again from the top right mark to the bottom left mark.
For those using US letter size cardstock the measurements are 5½" x 11" scored at 3", 5½" and 8". Mark at 4¼" and 6¾" top and bottom and score as described above.
The piece should look like this..
The center pop out mechanism is made using a piece of cardstock measuring 1.5cm x 6cm scored at 1cm, 2cm, 4cm and 5cm. ( ⅝" x 2¼" scored at ⅜", ¾", 1½" and 1⅞")
The card folds flat for posting and gives you space to decorate on the front.
And the back becomes the place to write your personal message.

In this weird time between Christmas and New Year I decided to look back at the annual catalogue from Stampin' Up! For some inspiration. And I fell upon the adorable Turtle-y Cute suite collection . With its cute characters and bright colours it's such a fun suite to create with.
To go with this fun suite of products a fun fold seemed the right choice! The fold I settled on is one inspired by the lovely Connie Stewart. Connie is an American demonstrator who obviously works in inches and for those of you who don't already know I'm from the UK and use metric measurements. This means I have adjusted and resized Connie's original fun fold to suit me.
So here's my version...
It all starts with 2 pieces of cardstock measuring 14.85cm x 10.5cm. A piece of cardstock measuring 14.4cm x 21cm scored at 10cm and 20cm. Another piece of cardstock 14.4cm x 20cm scored at 10cm. These pieces form the main parts of the card base.
You'll also need a piece of copier or scrap paper measuring 14.4cm x 10cm.
The pop out mechanism is a piece of cardstock measuring 8.5cm x 28cm scored at 2cm, 4cm cm, 14cm, 24cm and 26cm.
You'll also need extra papers and cardstock to decorate with.

With the winter weather well and truly here hobbies really come into their own. Especially the ones that can be done inside on cold wet days! Now papercrafting is my number one love but I'm also an avid reader and love to bake and knit as well. This make the gorgeous Hobby Haven pattern papers just perfect for the crafters in your life!
The papers feature all sorted of relaxing themes and the soft calm colour palette say's it all. The pack also has 2 sheets of die cut images ready to create with.
The card featuring this pretty paper is a fun fold one called a double-swing card. This fun card has lot's of area to show off the papers. This card is also a very interactive experience for the recipient as well as fun to make!.
The card stands nicely as well as folding flat for posting.
The sentiment can be found hidden inside the card which is a fun feature.
Seen from above the card shows how the panels appear to float.
The reverse is also decorated because as every crafter know now area should go naked!
Here are the measurements for the card. Start with a piece of cardstock measuring 11cm x 21cm. Next mark at 4.5cm, 6cm, 15cm and 16.5cm along the long edge top and bottom with a pencil. Now mark at 1.5cm and 9.5cm along both the short sides. The imperial measurements are.. cardstock measuring 8½" x 4¼" marked at 1¾", 2⅜", 6" and 6⅝" along the long edge top and bottom. Then at ⅝" and 3¾" along both the sort sides.
The central cut lines are at 1.5cm (⅝") , 7.5cm (2¹⁵/¹⁶"), 13.5cm (4⅞") and 19.5cm (7¹¹/¹⁶")

For this fun fold card I'm using the oh so cute Gingerbread man stamps and dies bundle. This fun card is perfect for any time of year and any occasion and is definitely one you're going to want to have a go at creating for yourself!
Called a double slider card it's most definitely a wow card that is sure to impress the recipient 😀
Closed the card fits neatly into a standard C6 envelope (A2 envelope). It can be deciding so many ways.. pattern papers, dry embossing or as I've done heat embossing... the choice is yours!
The card starts with a piece of cardstock measuring 14.85cm x 29.7cm scored at 1cm, 11cm and 21cm. ( 5½" x 11" scored at ⅜", 4⅜" and 8⅜" )
Then, keeping the 1cm ( ⅜") panel on the left-hand side, mark the right-hand panel at 1.5cm (½") in from the left hand scoreline and the right-hand edge both at the top and bottom of the panel. Next measure up 1cm ( ⅜") on all 4 marks. Connect the marks top and bottom as shown below. You'll be removing these small rectangles.

Next you're going to need a piece of plastic. I have used a 6 litre ( 6 quart) grip seal bag from IKEA. First trim the bottom seal of the bag off. Now cut a 5cm (1½") strip off the bottom of the bag to create a loop of plastic. Now carefully vot the sealed edges to give you 2 strips of plastic. You're only going to need 1 of these so save the other for another card or make 2 at the same time 😉
You'll also need 2 panels of the same colour cardstock measuring 14.4cm x 9.5cm. ( 3¾" x 5¼") As well as 2 white panels measuring 13.9cm x 9cm. ( 3½" x 5")
