Birthdays

This card is for my wonderful son Jonathan who is 33 today!
Now I do feel old!
I've used the Chevron Embossing Folder, Decorative Label punch and the Scallop Circle punch for this one. I was playing with the punch and started to fold it on the Simply Scored board and made this. Another punch  I cut in half and overlapped it and layered them both onto the main circle. The pleats in the scallop circle match with the pleats on the Baja Breeze Seam Binding ribbon.

I wasn't keen on many of the embossing folders at first but now have nearly all of them! I love them!

Labels Collection Framelits

I started to play with the Framelits and noticed an impression from a previously cut shape that the remaining card. I cut around it and got the thin, outer shape shown here.
Lucky Limeade, Certainly Celery and So Saffron cardstock on the 1st card and Daffodil Delight cardstock on the 2nd.
A message from Curly Cute stamp set, a piece of Summer Starfruit and Gumball Green ribbons and  Rhinestones finish these off.

Similar to the cards above but this time sticking the thin outer rim to the outside of the die cuts to give a two tone effect. The message is from Petite Pairs, a piece of Very Vanilla seam binding and some Pearls finish this one.

Some more Top Note cards.

These 2 were made using the Papaya Collage, Bring on the Cake and Itty Bitty Banners stamp sets.
2 simple cards but the first includes a little pocket inside for a gift card or money.

Top Note Die

When I received my die I went mad and cut lots of them.  And this is the result.
I cut several into 4 and fan folded them, with a dab of glue on each one and the beautiful Designer Builder Brads to hold them together. A punch of Baja Breeze on the brad with an epoxy bubble, a message from Curly Cute stamp set, a piece of Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon and one of the gorgeous Paper Doilies.
This one I've used only Whisper White cardstock and the Platinum Shimmer Paint for the message from Curly Cute.
Again using the Top Note Die into 4 but this time I threaded Bakers Twine through the hole and added 2 buttons, the large and the very small of the Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons. Finished off with some Rhinestones and Organza Ribbon.
Ideal for a wedding?

Using the Scallop Trim Border punch I layered Baja Breeze and Brushed Gold cardstock onto a Very Vanilla Card, half  a Top Note die cut, added some Curly Label punches,a piece of Baja Breeze ribbon and a message from Petite Pairs.

Similar to the one above but this time I added the Baja Breeze onto the Brushed Gold then punched out the border. It snipped some of the top of the border away but has left what looks like little teeth on the Baja Breeze. I have used some of the discontinued buttons this time (Waste Not Want Not)!

Champagne Glimmer Paper is Gorgeous!
Crumb Cake Top Note onto Basic Black, Melon Mambo and a Whisper White card. Scallop Circle Punches, Small Heart punch outs in Glimmer paper and Melon Mambo card stock, Organza ribbon and Pearls Basic Jewels to finish off.

Similar to the one above but this time, Very Vanilla, Melon Mambo and Champagne Glimmer Paper for this one. I am tight with Glimmer Paper so this was thin left over strips of paper mitred at the corners stuck to the back of the Top Note which I embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder.

For the next 2, I punched the Very Vanilla base card with the Scallop Edge border punch and Scallop Trim Border punch, matted Basic Grey and Pink Pirouette cardstock, cut the Top Note and mounted on top. Added messages from Bring on the Cake and onto the Decorative label punch. Some Pearls and a piece of discontinued ribbon.

More Birthdays.

For some of these, I have used some discontinued papers and ribbons on these with my
Waste Want Not cards.
I used half of one of the Paper Doilies on this card. The small and medium scallop circle punches and a message from Itty Bitty Banners stamp set. Organza ribbon with a piece of Blushing Bride pleated ribbon (discontinued) on top. Waste Not Want Not again! A Subtles Brad and Pearls finish this one.

I saw something like this in an old magazine and have put my take on it.
Very Vanilla base card, Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand and Natural Ivory card stock was used on this one.
A simple man's card with a touch of Very Vanilla Seam Binding. Message from Curly Cute stamp set.

Beautiful Wings Embosslits and Beautiful Butterflies Bigz were used for this one. The white butterfly is on Glossy White cardstock. Luck Limeade Ruffled Ribbon with Old Olive 3.2mm taffeta ribbon layered on top.
The message is from Bring on the Cake. Finished off with Rhinestones.

The Patriotic card.
Night of Navy, Real Red and Whisper White cardstock for this simple card. Scallop trim corner punch and Rhinestones. To finish off this one I have layered Real Red and Night of Navy(discontinued) 3.2mm taffeta ribbon layered onto Organza Ribbon.

Wish Big.
A message for all new Teenagers!
The Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Houndstooth Embossing Folder, Scallop Trim Border punch and Decorative Label Punch were used on this card.Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Gumball Green, Early Espresso and Summer Starfruit cardstock. The message was from Bring on the Cake.

This card I used the Dsp from Salebration again but I had a scrap of paper left and started  to play. I cut around the pattern then adhered to card and got this. This time I've used the ruffle ribbon and rhinestones as well as Bring on the Cake stamp set again. Brilliant set, I love all the messages on them.

More Saleabration pics

Just a few more ideas for the saleabration freebies.

I have used the Designer Series Papers  and some of the buttons on this one. The message is from Bring on the Cake stamp set and Bakers twine.
The spotted border punch and I just love the corner punch. You would never have guessed that of course!

This one I used the buttons, papers and Itty Bitty Banners message along with the top note die and label punch and bakers twine.
