Fun fold Friday You're a Peach

Don't you just love it when one card leads to the inspiration for another? Well yesterday I made a card featuring a pinwheel and today I'm sharing a fun fold called a pinwheel fold!! Another great feature of this card is that it offers plenty of surfaces to use the gorgeous You're a Peach pattern paper 😀

The card is far easier to make than you might think. All you need is a piece of pattern paper the same hight as your desired card by 11cm. So for a A6 and an A5 card that would be 14.85cm x 11cm . You score this along the 11cm length at 2.5cm, 5cm, 7.5cm and 10cm. You apply adhesive to the 1cm panel and fold the other end over to create a cube.

No you need 4 panels of cardstock. If your card is going to be a A6 card these panels need to be 14.85cm x 5.25cm. If it's going to be an A5 card then your 4 panels need to be 14.85cm x 10.5cm.

Now you attach your panels to the pattern paper cube. 1 panel is attatched to 1 face of the cube. When all 4 are applied you're ready to decorate.

Oh and one more nice thing about these pinwheel cards is that they fold flat for postage!!!

The smaller A6 card is perfect for a birthday card.

I used die cut panels for the focal point and a place to write your message on.

Whilst I've decorated the larger A5 version as a birthday card I do think it would make a super photo card/ album.
