Painterly pears pattern paper fun fold

 A quick post for a quick fun fold today! Perfect for using all that gorgeous double-sided pattern paper in your stash! This fun fold is just pattern paper and 3 scorelines! Of course it had to be done with the stunning Painterly Pears pattern paper 🫣 yes I'm loving this paper 🤣

 

The hardest part of this card is choosing which paper to use!

It starts with a piece of pattern paper measuring 14.85cm x 30.5cm (5½" x 12"). With the side you want to showcase facing up score at 7.5cm, 16.5cm and 27cm (3",6½" and 10½").

Then starting from the right-hand side fold the scoreline as a mountain going towards the left.

Then from the right-hand side fold as a mountain toward the right. The final scoreline is then folded mountain back over towards the left. Sound hard? It's  not I promise just look below! The folds create an S shape when standing.

That's the card made now time to decorate! I've chosen to adhere the sides of the narrow panel to create a pocket. 

Because this paper is so beautiful I wanted to keep the decoration to a minimum.  This allows the paper to shine ✨️ 

You might choose to add a panel at the back as the space to write your message. This also adds rigidity to the final project.

It also adds another place to get creative 😁.

This simple fold is great for making quick but stunning cards that have a very wow feel to them. Without lots of wow work 🤭!
