Bloom boutique introducing Barely Blush pop out heart card

 Just a quick post today as it's crazy busy here 😜 and it's 2 day late! Sorry 🫣 but here they are the measurements for the fun pop out heart card. This card with it's soft delicate pink colour palette is just delightful.  The shade of pink is from the new 2026-2028 In-Color's from Stampin' Up!. Called Barely Blush it's beautiful and so easy to use it goes with everything!  The pattern paper is from the gorgeous Bloom Boutique which features all 5 of the gorgeous 2026-2028 In-Color's with the added glamour of delicate gold foiling! 

The fold is very easy and starts as a piece of cardstock measuring 14.85cm x 21cm scored at 5.25cm, 10.5cm and 15.75cm. ( 8½" x 5½" scored at 2⅛", 4¼", and 6⅜").

The pop out mechanism is a piece of cardstock measuring 3.5cm x 21cm scored at 5.25cm and 7.75cm from each end (1¼" x 8½" scored at  

1& 15/16" and 3⅛" from each end.)

The card folds flat for posting but has a lovely pop out feature when opened and stands nicely for display. 

 

The heart is made using the ever useful Everyday Arches dies and Barely Blush Two-tone cardstock.  The embossing folder used here is the Paradise Garden 3d hybrid embossing folder.

There is space on the reverse of the card for more decoration and a place to write your personal message.

Winged gatefold fun fold introducing Peaceful Pine

Same fold different size is the theme for today's post. The winged gatefold card I shared in my last post was a square shape . As I was making it I knew I wanted to create a version that would fit in a standard C6 envelope (A2).  Making use of the beautiful Peaceful Pine colour palette. 

The card is made in exactly the same way as the square version but is a rectangle 😜. The decoration is a little simpler and has a more masculine feel to it in my opinion. 

The peaceful pine stripped paper is from the 2026-2028 In-Color Painted Patterns paper collection. This 30.5 x 30.5cm (12" x 12") paper pack features spots and strips making it an easy fun way to bring colour to any project. 

So here it is the A6 (A2) version of the winged gatefold card. 

As with the square version it's a very simple fun fold. Just 6 scorelines!

 Starting with a piece of cardstock measuring 14.85cm x 20cm ( 5½" x 8½") score at 4.5cm, 5cm, 9.5cm, 10.5cm, 15cm and 15.5cm ( 1⅞", 2⅛", 4", 4½", 6⅜" and 6⅝"). 

How to fold the scorelines and create the winged shape is shown in the video below.

The decoration for this A6 (A2)  version is as I've already mentioned simpler. It still uses my go too Everyday arches dies. It also features a stamp and die bundle called Relaxing Waterside. 

The soft colour palette just spoke to me of relaxing, calm and peaceful times and what could be better than sitting reading in a comfy chair in nature.

The second pattern paper I've used is from the Bloom Boutique paper collection. And the reverse has a simple white panel to write a personal message.

Winged gatefold fun fold cards introducing Hydrangea Hue

 Today's colour from the 2026-2028 In-Color collection from Stampin' Up! Is a beautiful shades of blue. Called Hydrangea Hue it's a soft shade that has a hint of a soft lilac tone to it. It's simply gorgeous and works well with so many other colours. For today's inspiration the colour palette is monochromatic,  that is just Hydrangea Hue and white. The card is a fun fold which I'm calling a winged gatefold.

The fold it's self is super simple just a few score lines and then decorate to your hearts delight 😀

As ever it all starts with a piece of cardstock measuring 14.85cm x 28cm scored at 6.5cm, 7cm, 13 5cm, 14.5cm, 21cm and 21.5cm ( 11" x 4¼" scored at 2½", 2¾", 5¼", 5¾", 8¼" and 8½").

And that's it! Yup a really simple fun fold that you can keep simple or decorate to your own taste.

The finished card fits into a 15.5cm x 15.5cm (6" x 6") square envelope .

The oh so pretty pattern paper is from a pack called Bloom boutique. This paper collection contains 12 double-sided 30.5cm x 30.5cm ( 12" x 12") sheets. The colours are all the new 2026-2028 In-Color's with a delicate sprinkle of gold foil. 

The card folds flat for posting by the wings of the gatefold folding in. When open the wings come out to create a great display.

The flowers are first stamped in Hydrangea Hue ink on white cardstock. Then coloured using the coordinating alcohol marker. Then restamped and highlighted with a white gel pen. (You don't see me doing this in the video because I forgot to do it till the live finished 🫣)  The stamp used is from a set called lovely arrangements then die cut out using the coordinating dies.

The foliage die cut is from a set called nature's sympathy The arches are created with a die set called everyday arches. 

The white panels are embossed with 3D embossing folder called paradise garden.

Cube pillar card introducing Golden Glow

 Every year Stampin' Up! Intoduce 5 new trendy colours.  Called the In-Color collection these colours are only available for 2 years. This year's 2026-2028 In-Color's are beautiful 😍! They range from a soft green colour to the palest pink and include shades sure to suit your projects. 

The range includes the new magnetic closure ink pads, reinkers, A4 (letter size) cardstock,  30.5cm x 30.5cm ( 12" x 12") two-tone cardstock, ribbon, embellishments as well as double-sided pattern papers, alcohol markers and amazing new Shimmer brushes!

To start this introduction of the colours I asked during my regular Monday Facebook live which colour to use and it was decided to go with the beautiful Golden Glow.  The soft yellow has orange undertones and a delicate feel to it.

The beautiful pattern papers used for this card are from the Bloom Boutique  pattern papers and the 2026-2028 In-Color pearlized paper

The card folds is remarkably easy. Called a cube pillar card it folds flat for postage, stands nicely for display and shows off your gorgeous papers so well! 

It all starts with a piece of cardstock measuring 14cm x 21cm scored at 5cm, 10cm, 15cm and 20cm.  ( 5" x 8½" scored at 2", 4", 6" and 8") . 

You'll then need a piece of cardstock measuring 10cm x 29.7cm scored at 7cm, 14cm,  21cm and 28cm. ( 5" x 11" scored at 2½", 5", 7½" and 10") next cut the panel into 2 pieces each measuring 5cm x 29.7cm ( 2½" x 11")

The final piece that you'll need is a piece of cardstock measuring 3cm x 9cm scored at 1.5cm and 3cm from each end. ( 1" x 3" score at ½" and 1" from each end) then cut into 2 strips each measuring 1.5cm x 9cm ( ½" x 3").

The stamps and dies used to decorate this card are called Lovely Arrangements.  

When I decorated my card I place a white mat on the reverse so that I could write my own message.

The other thing I like about this fold is that it fits into a standard C6 (A2) envelope as it folds flat.

Here is another version of the cube pillar card made using one of the 2026-2028 In-Color Painted Patterns papers in Crisp Cantaloupe. The flowers on this card are from the stunning Artisan Sketched Garden papers and the sentiments from Paradise garden stamps and dies set.

Oh and top tip make sure your decorations on this card fits into the envelope before adhering anything down 😉😀.
