Well we've gone from heatwave and glorious sunshine to winter weather in the last few days so I'm super happy I have a passion (papercrafting) that isn't weather dependant! You can craft whatever the weather fortunately, very handy here in the UK that's for sure 🤣. Anyway enough about the British obsession and on to my personal one at the moment the absolutely stunning Moonlit Flora suite collection.
The suite also has these stunning pattern papers. Called Moonlit Flora they are just gorgeous 😍. The colour palette is shades of green with pops of white, a deep pink called berry burst and rich yellow called golden glow which brings it to life in such a gorgeous way. If you haven't already guessed it's one of my favourites 🤭.
The card inspiration I'm sharing here today is one that is it's self inspired by a card shared by the lovely Connie Stewart. Connie is an American creator who works exclusively in inches and US letter size cardstock and as I'm in the UK and use A4 cardstock I have created my version in both metric and imperial measurements.
The card folds flat for posting and has lots of space to share beautiful papers or photos or write multiple messages yet still fits a standard C6 (A2) envelope.
The ribbon used as a closure is a beautiful shiny one in a deep rich pink shade called berry burst.
The sentiments used inside are from the Fern and flora stamps. As are the moth images that are also found in the pattern papers.
There is a lovely space to write your message. This card would also work well as a gift card holder or maybe the addition of a pocket to add more space for photos or journalling... the more I play with this card the more ideas I come up with!
Here are the measurements for this card.
You'll need a piece of cardstock measuring 10cm x 29.2cm scored at 7.4cm and 14 85cm ( 4" x 10½" scored at 2⅝" and 5¼") .
A piece of the same colour cardstock measuring 10cm x 8.4cm scored at 7.4cm. ( 4" x 5⅝" scored at 5 ¼").
And the final part is a panel measuring 10.5cm x 14.85cm. ( 4¼" x 5¼")
Here is the video that shows how the card comes together.
I'd love to know if you'd give this card a go. I'd also love to see your creations.
