Get Well Soup.
I love the simplicity of this stamp.
I thought that a skewed card sums up how disjointed you feel when you're not well.
This single stamp says it all.

I gently scored diagonally across the card to add a little detail.
Soft Suede, Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla cardstock and
Cherry Cobbler Ink pad for the image and message.

Then added the Gold Natural Trim ribbon to give a little sparkle.

I stamped another image and cut out the bowl and spoon just to make it pop off the page.

The message for this card is from Flourishing Phrases.

This week I have been inspired by all of the amazing get well soon cards
that I received since December.
So, this week I've made some others to show you.
I hope you like them and are inspired to make some of your own.
Please forgive the photos.
My son, his wife and children have now moved in with me
and I can't find my camera!!
So, I used my phone for the pictures!

A very simple, flat card. Yes, I matted the Marina Mist and Very Vanilla. I drew 'stitching'
around the top mat to give it a border.

The stamp sets that I used were Brushwork Alphabet and Weather Together.

As you can see a very simple card to start me off again.

love is in the air.....

Well its getting close to Valentines day so it had to be done lol
Now i'm not a particularly lovie dovie person when it comes down to cards so I find Valentines quite tricky but I have to say I'm really rather pleased with the cards I created for last nights class. They are equally as usable for Valentines as they could be for any occasion I feel.
