So last week was #worldcardsendingweek
And I had the privilege of sending 2 cards, 1 to Australia and 1 to the USA.
So today I'm sharing the cards I sent . I used pumpkin pie in both cards as it works so well for Thanksgiving and Halloween! And as we don't get to make many projects for those events here in the Uk I took advantage and sent a Thanksgiving card to the US and a Halloween card to Aus!!!
I used the cute Birds of a Feather stamp set and Stampin' Blends and had fun colouring in the images.
What's your favourite card making event of the year?

Pumpkin Pie...
Now are you a traditional or contemporary when it comes to Christmas cards? Do you like soft or bold colours? Decisions, decisions...... colour choice is a way to express our selves. I love bright , bold colours and I'm not afraid to use them at Christmas!! 😁 So for todays sample I've taken pumpkin pie added very vanilla and some sparkling gold glimmer to create a warm, rich card. I used early espresso ink and the Buffalo Check stamp for the plaid background.
What do you think is this too out there for a Christmas card? Would you be happy to recieve it? Or is it just not Christmas for you?

Pumpkin pie...
Welcome to this weeks inspiration. For my samples this week I am going to be featuring Pumpkin Pie. A tasty shade of orange that Stampin Up has in it's regal family of core colours.
For todays card I've teamed it up with smoky slate, crumb cake, mango melody and cajun craze. This colour palette is both rich and elegant in my mind so I used the large image from the Christmastime is Here suite that will be available on the 1st of November. The suite has beautiful floral images and Christmas sentiments in stamps, dies and pattern paper.

A Little Lace - Day 5
For my last project this week, I have been sponging. I stamped the large flower image several times over a Whisper White mat using Versamark Ink pad. Once it was sprinkled with Silver embossing powder, I heat set it. Then using sponges, I started with Pool Party Ink, sponging over the whole of the mat until it was completely covered. I used Coastal Cabana to cover the outer part of the mat and Bermuda Bay lastly around the edges of the card mat.
Before fixing to the card base, I fixed a piece of the lovely Mini Striped Ribbon in Bermuda Bay along one side.
Using the Stitched Rectangle dies, I die cut a mat in Silver Foiled card. I stamped and heat set the White mat then fixed t to the silver foiled card and using Dimensionals, placed on the card.
A simple message once again to complete this card on the outside. Then another message and some more of the small flowers stamped and heat set in Silver again for the inside.

That's it from me this week. I hope I've given you some ideas and inspiration to make some beautiful card for yourself.
Please stop by next week and see what delights Cary has in store for you.
Thank you, Gill :)

A Little Lace - Day 4
Today's card is made using Night of Navy and Whisper White card only. This time I used the coordinating die with the stamp set. I die cut a piece of white then using the border die, I cut a few sections off. I love the patterned edges it gives.
On another scrap of White card, I die cut using the edging piece to get the shape for the messages. Then using some of the pieces that were cut off from the die cuts, I used them to decorate for the corners inside .

I'm sorry for the picture quality of this last one. The camera didn't seem to like it at all!

A Little Lace - Day 3
Today I used another of the beautiful laser cut cards from the Bird Ballad suite. This time, I cut out the centre of the laser cut and stamped the little flowers through the hole that was left.
Then, using some Very Vanilla card, I stamped a few more of the flowers and once again fussy cut them out. Using Dimensionals, I fixed them between the stamped flowers.
Using a 1 and 1/2" circle punch and 1 and 3/8" scalloped circle punch, I stamped the message and mounted it onto the larger circle.
I finished off with 1 or 2 Rhinestones. A very quick, straight forward card again, which I'm rather pleased with. For more information on the stamp set, please click HERE

A Little Lace - Day 2
Hello, today's project is rather unusual for me. It's very bright!
I used a card from the beautifully die cut set, Bird Ballad Laser-cut cards and tin. There are 12 cards and envelopes in the tin, it's great!

Anyway, I added a piece of Flirty Flamingo Card behind the laser cut then stamped and coloured in the flowers from the stamp set. As usual, I fussy cut the images then raised them on the card using Dimensionals. Adding a message and a few more images, completes this one for today.
This is the inside left of the card.
