Weekly Inspiration #2biggirlscraftingretreat

Hello and welcome back. As you can see Cary and I recently held our annual retreat in Fareham, Hampshire. It was an amazing weekend with amazing company and yes,
 amazingly...we were crafting!
Last week, Cary showed you her projects so this week it's my turn.

We gave all of the attendees Butterfly Gala stamp set and the coordinating papers called
Gingham Gala. A lovely set of Checked papers in Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather, Lemon Lime Twist and Whisper White. (Click HERE for more information on the Butterfly Gala Bundle)

My first card is a double Z fold card. Using the stamp set, I stamped and then punched out the butterflies. The first front mat was embossed with Lovely Floral embossing folder. The message was stamped on the main mat. I die cut 2 Highland Heather pieces using the Delicate Lace Edgelits. They were fixed together using a narrow strip of card and fixed to the card. A very straighforward project.

This one was using the Country Floral embossing folder and the Rectangle Stitched Framelits.
The rectangles were raised using the foam strips from Stampin' Up!

This is a larger card, 8" by 8" or 20cm by 20cm. I used paper for the front and stamped the gingham paper using the Buffalo Check stamp (click HERE for more information) and Balmy Blue ink pad. It looks like a lot of card an paper used but I gutted the front and inside of the Night of Navy mats and used them for the little mats and the DSP.
Please stop by tomorrow and see some more of the projects from the Retreat.
