Weekly Inspiration- Masks
This weeks inspiration is using masks.
I've used Lovely As A Tree stamp set today and the mask is of the tree in middle.
Using a sticky note, I stamped the image onto it,
cut it out except for the sticky bit at the top.
I then stamped the same image on the card mat, laid the mask over that image and stamped the set of 5 trees over the mask and the mat.
The result is below. It has not stamped the tree in the centre of the set of 5 trees only the 2 each side.
I finished off with a message from the Perfect Pairings Saleabration stamp set.
This is the sticky note tree which can be used many more times so I
will keep it in with the set of stamps for the future.
.
Don't forget that during January and March 31st, Stampin' Up! have SALEABRATION time.
For
every £45 spend on product within the ideas books and catalogues, you
can choose any 1 of the FREE products in the Saleabration leaflet.
£90

Today's inspiration features a fun fold.
The photo really doesn't show the details such as the brick work emotes on the black and the tone on tone speckled Sahara sand background 😕
I think I need to go on a photography course!
Any way if you'd like to know more please just ask 😊
Have a fun day xx

Sky's The Limit
FREE stamp set during SALEABRATION
Only available until 16th March.
For this card I have used some more of the AMAZING Perfectly Artistic DSP
which was featured on last weeks Inspiration.
This time I used a piece of the Sahara Sand papers.
A simple card to put together (when you've worked out the measurement of the card base).
Divide your base by the number of steps needed and move each fold back from the previous step.
I know...it IS easier said than done!
If you're interested in the layout of the marking, please contact me and
I will be happy to draw one out and email to you.
Anyway, I heat embossed the plane in Black embossing powder, stamped the messages with
Tuxedo Black Memento ink and die cut the numbers and letters from the Little Numbers Thinlets dies.
I finished off with some thin offcuts of Silver Glimmer Paper.
It's my son's birthday today and I've made a very similar one for him.
He's no longer 21, that went a very long time ago!

WEEKLY INSPIRATION
The Sky's The Limit
FREE stamp set during SALEABRATION
This set is only available until 16th February
Today's card I decided to add a little sparkle!
Tempting Turquoise as the card base and being mean... I 'gutted' the middle out of the glimmer paper. The top sheet is a piece of white from Colour Me Irresistible Speciality DSP.
I sponged over the white with Tempting Turquoise ink and then rubbed over and
revealed the raindrops.
Heat embossed the plane and stamped the words from Sky's The Limit.
I like the dies with the words on so I used the Thanks from the Greetings Thinlets Dies.
Finished off at the corners with the Triple Corner Punch and a piece of white satin ribbon.
I hope you like it.

FREE Stamp set during SALEABRATION

I said that I could make a feminine card using this set! I wasn't sure at first seeing the set but I'm really pleased with it. I hope you like it. Do you think it worked?
This time it was mainly cardstock, which was die cut with the circles framelets, a doily and some silver metallic thread. I used the remainder of the card that I had cut the circle with to give me the border for the stamped images of the curvy cloud and heart.
Oh, and I did emboss the large scalloped circle with the Decorative Dots TIEF

Don't you just love Wink of Stella?
My favourite is the clear because you can highlight any thing with its beautiful shimmer!
But did you know you can watercolour with it too?
Today's sample is a watercoloured background that I've then watercoloured over the top with Wink of Stella. In real life it has a fantastic shimmer that makes this card twinkle beautifully. Such a shame my photography isn't up to capturing it!

Day 3 of this week's watercolour inspiration is a zig zag card using watercolour paper and the spritz watercolour technique.
I stamped the images in archival basic black from Stampin up then with a dry brush coloured them in using the ink directly from Stampin up classic ink pads.
Then I spritzed the images with plain water so that the ink bled , mopping with kitchen paper when it had gone as far as I wanted. All materials used are from Stampin up 😊
