Now I couldn't leave the girls out from all this tool time fun so today's inspiration is for girls of all ages!!
The cards are exactly the same except for two magical ingredients....Versamark and clear embossing powder!
All I did was coat the card stock liberally with Versamark directly then cover generously with clear embossing powder. Then I used a stiff paint brush and holding it at 90 degrees gently stipple the powder to create texture. If you like you can run a ball tool through it to create patterns. Then heat the powder and voila you have created a background that is textured and looks a bit like faux leather.
Well I hope you've enjoyed this weeks inspiration and will join us next week to see what we have to share with you.
Have fun
Cary xx

With a bit of help....
Today's cards are all inspired by cards that I've seen on the internet. Browsing the internet is a great way to find inspiration and Caseing is something that we all do. Sometimes they can be the kick start you need when you are struggling with crafters block or as some would say have lost your crafting mojo! This is what caseing these cards did for me all the cards I've shared since Monday happened after I made these cards and the inspiration started to flow for me . I'm also going to apologize to the the creators of the original cards ... I failed to take down their names so can't give them the credit they're due...I'm sorry. If you know who to give credit to please let me know so that I can give credit and thanks to the creators.

Metallic hexagons...
Today's Samples not only feature the nailed it stamps but also the amazing dimensional embossing folder from Stampin' up! called Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Pictures don't really show quite how dimensional it is!
Again the samples are in the vibrant bold colours and the more subtle options.

Nailed It.....
Don't you just love the names companies come up with for products etc?...This weeks inspiration will be featuring a stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Nailed It and it just fit's the bill soooo well! Here is a picture showing the stamps.
I think this set lends its self to boys of all ages from 2 to 99 and maybe even the girl too?
So to start off the week here's a card for the younger age or young at heart. I've used bright colour ways for the children and more grown up shades for the ehhh more grown up children!

Foil Card - Day 4
Hello. For my last project this week I have played with Whisper White, Copper Foil
and a little splash of Basic Black Ink.
I made the box first and decided that it will be perfect as a gift box for a wedding or Anniversary.
The card was next and I kept it in simple white and mats of copper foil.
I embossed the whole of the card base with Falling Petals TIEF to add dimension to the
white.
The messages on the card are from Better Together stamp set,
The gift box is from the Window Box Thinlits Dies.
The message on the box is from the co-ordinating stamp set
to the Thinlits called Window Shopping.
I love the way that the box looks in the Copper Foil

Foil Card - Day 3
Today's card colour was decided by my 8 year old grandson Jayden.
I couldn't decide on a colour to use so he chose one.
Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White and Gold Foiled card.
I die cut the Flourish and edge pieces in the gold and embossed the White card with
Sparkle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
The messages used were from Flourishing Phrases stamp set.

Today should be Foil card day 3 projects but I must apologise.
Yesterday was my birthday and I was kept very busy by my
amazing friends and family well into the night!
However, some of the beautiful cards that I received were made by my Stampin' Up!
friends. So I thought I would show some of them to you.
This first card was made by Cary. It's absolutely beautiful because as usual she make very
creative cards etc. She used Falling Flowers stamp set and the Large Letter Framelits to make this.
I've shown you the inside because of how lovely Cary has decorated it.
The rest of the cards were made by some of our lovely ladies who join us in our classes.
This card was using the Beautiful You stamp set made by Debbie.
The next was made using Big Day stamp set and made by Debs.
This one is from Lizzie and made using Flower Shop stamp set and the Pansy punch.
This last card was made by Kate and she used the Birthday Blast stamp set and Star Blast Edgelits.
I consider myself to be a very lucky person to have such talented friends.
Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes, xxx
