Product - Day 5 Stampin' Write Marker Pens

For my last project today I used the Stamparatus in addition to the marker pens.

I used athe Dashing Deer stamp set. I stamped the 1st image then still with the Stamparatus, stamped another image several times onto a silicone mat. The while the ink was still wet, I placed the white card onto it and stamped again. The image of the reversed deer on the left was revealed.

Once I had finished stamping, I embossed the white mat using the Softly Falling TIEF

To finish off I added the lovely message inside using Night of Navy marker pen and added

Product - Day 4 Stampin' Write Marker Pens

Once again,  I used no ink pads only the pens.
The stamp set used is Mistletoe Season. A very simple and straightforward card
but this time I 'splattereed' the 1st card mat with the Real Red marker pen.

For this effect, I tapped it against the edge of a Bone Folder and it left tiny little spots over the mat.

I had to stamp over the bow several times to get the density that I liked.
I used the Pretty Label Punch for the message.

I used Granny Apple Green as well as Real Red on this Real Red cardbase.

I finished off the card by adding bling in the form of Basic Rhinestones.

Stampin Write Marker Pens - Day 3

For this card today, I have used the pens only. No Ink Pads at all.
I chose the 3 window panels from the Graceful Glass Vellum pack of papers.

I coloured them in on the reverse of the vellum, as it gives a lovely soft hue. Fixed them to the card base and using Mini Dimensionals, fixed the 'window' panel onto the coloured images.

The stamp set used today is Painted Glass.

I embossed the window pane mat with the Garden Trellis Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Stampin'Write Marker Pens - Day 2

Following on from yesterday's post, I used the penss to ink all of the stamps this time.
Once again no ink pads at all!
I started again with Whisper White card and a piece of DSP from the Under the Mistletoe range of Christmas papers.

I used a 1 3/4" and 2" circle punches for the wreath of lights and the message. Once again, I coloured
the edges of the circle of card with Daffodil Delight Marker Pen. I used Shaded Sprice and
Daffodil Delight Marker Pen for the messages.
The stamp set is Making Christmas Bright.

Weekly Inspiration

Product

Welcome back.
This week I have been working with a particualr product.
I have chosed the Stampin' Write Marker Pens

Over the last 9 years I have managed to accumulate all of the lovely Stampin' up! Ink pads.
While collecting them which needless to say took quite a while, I found that I need partiuclar colours so once a month, I treated myself to a set of the Marker pens. Brights were the first.

I found that I could use the pens in so many different ways that I didn't need to panic
about buying all of the ink pads in one hit.Great!
So this week, I haven't used one inkpad at all. I have used only the Marker Pens.
For more information about the marker pens, please click HERE.

I had this card idea from one that Cary recently made in a class.
A C6 card base with a removable gift box.
It wouldn't be me if I didn't do some fussy cutting!
I used Whisper White cardstock only. I coloured the edges of the card base, front and inside using Soft Suede Marker pen. Then added the top mats. The stamp set is Making Christmas Bright. I embossed the front White mat with Softly Falling.

I coloured in Basic Black pen onto white card then when dry, I punched out all of the 'footprints' using the lightbulb punch.

I love this phrase ... and don't they just!

Apologies.

I must apologise for the lack of posts over the last few weeks.

Sadly, Cary's daughter Callaise died after a long illness and her

funeral was held yesterday.

She will be very missed by all who knew her

but so dearly missed by all of her family.

My love to you Cary and your family.

Rest in Peace dear Callaise xxx

Sketches - Day 5

Hello, I have written this up as sketches but in truth it isn't.
I recently had the opportunity to go to ONSTAGE where Stampin' Up! demonstrators from over the world get together.
Among many other things, we also swap cards or gifts with many of them.
Here is my card that I swapped.

There was a lot of cutting and piecing up to do on this design but I do like the result.

I coordinated this one with Lemon Lime Twist cardstock.
I used the Broadway Bound Speciality Designer Series Paper for all of them.

I coordinated many more in Lemon Lime Twist, Lovely Lipstick, Basic Black and Gray Granite cardstock. I stuck to Basic Black Ink pad for the messages.
I generally make over 300 cards to swap but I cut back this time and only made 229!

Well, Broadway Bound papers and Broadway Birthday stamps are absolutely amazing.
If you would like more information on the Speciality Designer Series Papers, please click HERE

Please don't forget that there are framelits to coordinate with the stamps and paper too.
Thank you for stopping buy this week.
I hope to have some more projects next week to inspire you.

Sketches - Day 4

I thought that it was about time that I made my Christmas cards. Here is my 1st one.

I used Very Vanilla Cardstock and Copper foiled card.

There are a few little touches of green with the leaves which were die-cut using the framelits that coordinate with the stamp set Still Night. I love the simplicity of this stamp set.
If you would like to know more about the stamp set, please click HERE.

The green is Tranquil Tide Glimmer paper from the Joyous Noel Glimmer paper pack.
In addition to the Tranquil Tide, there is Merry Merlot and Copper glimmer paper too.
Absolutely fabulous!

I heat embossed the messages using Copper Embossing Powder and Versamark Ink pad.

Here is the card that inspired me to make mine.

Sketches - Day 3

I love the paper and stamp set so much from yesterday's card that I made another one.

I used Broadway Bound Speciality Designer Series Paper.

I used both sides of the papers this time. The Black with Gold Foil and Party hats on the reverse.
