Classes - Day 2
Here is another of the sample cards we made for the all day class on Saturday just gone.
These 2 cards were made by Cary and she made them in 2 different colours to show how versatile they are in different colours.
The stamp set was Carols of Christmas and Card Builder Framelits.

This first card, Cary used Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst Ink Pad and cardstock,
in addition to Whisper White cardstock.
She stamped randomly all over the white mat before die-cutting out the word PEACE.
Then die cut 4 more words in Whisper White cardstock and stuck them one on top of the other.
Using the patterned letters finally on top of the white ones. Then stuck them into the aperture
from where they were cut from.

She continued the design inside the card but also used the dies to
cut out the star shapes that you can see here

Repeating the same design, this time Cary used Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig cardstock and Inks as well
as Whisper White cardstock.

 Beautiful cards once again Cary.

Christmas Classes

On Saturday last, Cary and I held another all Day class in Warnham.
For this class we used the Carols of Christmas stamp set.
This is the first of the cards that I made.
The cards were all A5 cards made especially for the special friend or family member in your life.
My first card I used a piece of the Be Merry DSP as the front mat and placed that onto
the gorgeous Fresh Fig  cardstock.

I added a mini card onto that because I felt it needed more. So as I was singing the Christmas Carol of Deck the Halls, I continued by adding a jumper from the Christmas Sweaters
and La la la la la from Santa Paws stamp sets.

The inside message was from the lovely Snowflake Sentiments stamp set.

I will be showing one of Cary's cards tomorrow, so please pop by to see them.

Weekly Inspiration - Day 5

Snowflakes Sentiments - take 2

The following cards are from a recent all day class that Cary and I held.

For this card I used a piece of DSP from the Be Merry papers.
I embossed another Snowflake, mounted it onto Gold foil and fussy cut around it.

The tab at the top was made stamping the message For You and is the closure for the card.

This is the last card from the day. This time I used the Night in Bethlehem stamp set and Dies.
2 die cuts, 1 placed over the other using Dimensionals (foam shapes) and the pink frame,
which were added also with Dimensionals.
I finished off with the messages from the stamp set of the same name, Night in Bethlehem.

Thank you for stopping by this week. I hope that you've been inspired by some of this week's cards.

Weekly Inspiration - Classes, Day 4

Snowflake Sentiments

Today's post are some of the cards from one of our all day classes.
This class everyone received their own set of Snowflake Sentiments stamps.

This first one is a simple embossed Snowflake on the side of the mat with the Winter Wonder TIEF.
I die cut the Snowflake border on the side, then some individual snowflakes.
I finished off with a strip from the beautiful Year of Cheer Washi Tape

For this card, I used a piece of the fabulous Year of Cheer DSP.
I die cut the scalloped border in Copper Foil card and then with Soft Sky cardstock,
the snowflake border using the Swirly Snowflake Dies from the Seasonal Brochure
which coordinate with the stamp set.

For this frilly card, I scalloped 3 card mats and added swirls and snowflakes
using the Swirly Snowflakes Dies.
I added some different die cuts from the same set of dies as above and stamped a message on the Soft Sky, scalloped layer.
I finished off with 3 strips from the Year of Cheer Washi tape.

Another card from our lovely ladies in Burgess Hill for today's card.

This is a stepper card with the lip at the front and side of the card.
I used Whisper White, Basic Black cardstock and some paper from Merry Little Christmas DSP

I added a foil Snowflake and a little piece of the New MIni Sequin Trim.

The messages are from the Flurry of Wishes in the Stampin' Up! Annual catalogue.

Here are the beautiful cards that all of the ladies made that evening.

Once again all unique.

Weekly Inspiration - Day 2

 Classes continued.

Today's card is another from a class Cary and I recently held.

this first card is another very straight forward one which is in Whisper White, Soft Sky and Night of Navy and Silver Foil cardstock.

I embossed the Snowflake onto the Silver Foiled Card using the beautiful Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from the Stampin' Up! Seasonal catalogue.

Then I matted the foil onto the Soft Sky, added a piece of the Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon together with a bow and added them onto the Night of Navy mat.

All then stuck to the Whisper White, Thick card base.

I repeated the coloured mats outside and inside with messages from the Labels to love stamp set.

Here are the beautiful cards that our ladies made.
Once again they have made such lovely, unique cards.

weekly Inspiration - Classes

OMG! How can I follow that?
Cary made the most gorgeous boxes last week that will be just perfect for those Christmas gifts that I will be giving this year.  Well done and thank you Cary.
Cary and I hold classes several times a month and this week I am going to show you some of the beautiful cards that our ladies have made.

The first 4 pictures are the card that I made as an example for what can be done.

I matted the layers using Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler cardstock and Gold Foiled paper.
The wreath and central flower is from Santa's Sleigh stamp set.

The message is also from Santa's Sleigh and the Reindeer is from the Santa's Sleigh Framelits.

This is our ladies first project for the evening.

They are absoloutely gorgeous ladies. I love the little red noses on them.

Thank you

Hello again,

while I packed and then unpacked, what seems like hundreds of boxes!

I must therefore say a VERY BIG

THANK YOU CARY

You are a total superstar, thank you, thank you and thank you again Cary.

Not quite as it seems....

Today's inspiration was inspired by a YouTube video for an origami box here
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yA-noRwxHnE
I used 2 sheets of 12" d 12" double sided pattern paper from the Merry Moments DSP  from Stampin Up   for the black and white sample and 2 pieces of 6"×6" for the small green box.
Well that's it for me this week I hope you've enjoyed the samples and perhaps you'll have a go at making a box or 2 yourse5😊
Have a good weekend  please join us next week for some more inspiration 😊
Have fun
Cary x

Oh la la....

Today's inspiration was inspired by the beautiful old hat boxes.  Straightaway I thought Berry Burst and black, l love that colour combo 😊
I made these using the layering oval dies and the label punch from Stampin Up of course  😉
They are quite small but perfectly formed for those delicious extra special truffles or maybe jewels .

Pass the parcel...

Do you like the suspense of opening a parcel? I do 😊 well with this trip you get the suspense multiplied by 3! Lol
These nesting cube boxes are inspired by ones I've seen on the internet but sadly I can't find the link to the original that inspired me.😕 so a big thank you to the lovely person who shared their talent.
My boxes range in size from 4" cube to a 2"cube. The outside are made from pattern paper and each box has a card stock liner to give the box strength.
