This or That Thursday - Time Together

 For today I have decided to something that I'm not that comfortable with. That is, I made a shaker card. Correction. Not 1 but 2! Using the Time Together stamps, dies and DSP I made the first one. I die cut the timer from the DSP and using Cary's method of shaker cards, added a cello bag with sequins in to the rear of the DSP. I used the Foam adhesive strips to mount them both onto a card base in Bubble Bath. A really soft and lovely pink which I embossed on 1 side using one of my favourite 3D Basics embossing folders. The sentiment was also stamped onto the Bubble Bath and I once again fussy cut it out. The DSP is from the Delightfully Eclectic. I added 2 pinches of the Loose Silver Sequins to the cello bags.

This card is very similar except from the fact that it is a double shaker! I added some of the Loose Daisy Embellishments for this card and a few hearts shaped pieces from the DSP which was again from the Delightfully Eclectic papers. I carefully die cut the lower half of the dies onto the DSP and finished it off by hand with scissors. I added each bag individually to the reverse of the paper and then used the foam once more to mount it onto the Daffodil Delight card mat and then the White card base.

Fun Fold Friday - Seasonal Branches

Thank you for joining me here once again today. Using the Seasonal Branches stamp set and dies today for the last time this week I have made an easy fun fold called a twisted gate fold card. It is as easy as any other gatefold except that this is slanted at an angle. I have again used  a Basic White card base and scored the front panel from top right to bottom left. That's it! I added another C6 mat on top of that and some DSP from the Delightfully Eclectic papers, I cut 3x 4.5cm squares from Garden Green card  or 3x 1,3/4" squares. I cut 3x white squares in white and embossed them using the Exposed Brick embossing folder. 

They were all added to the card using Dimensionals to add height and an oval duo punch with the birthday wishes on. Again, this was also added using Dimensionals. Inside, I added a Garden Green mat and a white mat over the top and centralised several flowers and leaves over it. The final touch was another Oval sentiment shape, on Dimensionals for the front of the card to stand up against. That's it! simple enough?

Fun Fold Friday - Coffee With Friends

Well, here we are already and it's Friday today! For my last card this week, I have done what I believe is called a triple accordion card. I have seen so many of them over the years but never actually made one myself... until today! Using the Coffee With Friends stamp set, Go To Greetings and Charming Sentiments stamp sets, I have made my own version of one. I used the gorgeous new cardstock colour of Bubble Bath and the patterned paper I chose has a Misty Moonlight background. I added Basic White panels on the folds inside and out and Granny Apple Green die cut leaves for the front. The images were coloured in using my Stampin' Blends pens.

It has 3 folds (obviously as it's a triple) which meet just past the centre point and layers of DSP from the Delightfully Eclectic papers. I also coordinated it using the Countryside Corners dies, Sentiments Silhouettes and the Timeworn Type embossing folder to complete it.
