Free hand ....

Now I love rubber stampin partly because I can't draw for toffee! So to make something and share it that has my own freehand drawing on it is a bit scary! So here goes.....
Todays samples show how you can use the fine tip glue pen to create resist backgrounds. Using the pen "draw" your pattern on card and leave to dry. The easiest in my opinion is spots placed randomly you can go wrong!. I then got a bit more adventurous and had a go at swirls then I got really carried away and had a go at a repetitive doodle that I have used when zentangeling.
When the glue was dry I used sponges and rubbed ink over the images and they started to pop of the page! I had great fun and messy fingers ...so I was happy!
The cards I created using the 3 background pieces are very simple but do show of the backgrounds well in my opinion.
I hope you like these and will have a go yourself .

  1. Does the ink not color the glue spots? These look so cool!
