Tips, Tricks and Techniques Tuesday...

So today I have a little tip to share with you it's  not rocket science but it might just save you a lot of frustration.....well it does me šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
I saw this great technique on the internet and thought it was a wow. You take the tulip stamp and ink it up in one colour and stamp it. Then you take a darker colour ink and a dauber and apply the ink to bottom of the stamp and up the outer edges of the petals.  Now stamp ontop of the already stamped image. Placement is helped because the Timeless Tulips set is a photopolymer set.
I loved the effect that this technique gives and the colour options are limitless! And this is where my little tip comes in when you find pleasing colour combos stamp them onto a piece of spare card and note down what colours you've used. Then store them in the stamp set box along with the stamps for future reference.
So simple but saves lots of frustration  later trying to remember what you did!!
