Throwback Thursday

Gill and I are holding our regular classes via zoom at the moment...and it's great!! We have been able to craft with friends who no longer live local enough to attend our classes!!
And last night was one such class. As I was a bit delayed in creating a sample for today I asked the group what they'd like to see. And this is what they came up with.
The simple but effective technique that is an oldie but goody ! All you need is a piece of double sided pattern paper to fit just a little smaller than your card front. Then you find the center of the long side and cut straight in for 5cm or 2", approximately halfway in.
Now gently forld the paper back to reveal the reverse of the paper. A great way to use some of that gorgeous paper you have in your stash!!
The beautiful paper I've used today is from the stunning Peony Garden pack pack from Stampin Up.  It contains 12 sheets, 2 each of 6 double sided  designs of 12" x 12" paper. The colour palette is very elegant and soft, petal pink, basic gray and one of my all time favourites gray granite.
