Watercolour Wednesday Warm Welcome

 For today's inspiration I have taken a bold step outside my box. I have created a watercolour background. Nothing new there I hear you say but it is different! Not a messy background in sight! This time I used a brush and ink and created a scene.  I made the scene as a backdrop for the Warm Welcome stamps and dies.

The background was made using quite a dry brush onto thick basic white cardstock.  I used a variety of blues and purples with a splash of orange. 

 I used a basic grey ink for stamping and cardstock mats. I love the sentiment of this card . 

The background was larger than I needed for the front. I used one of  the off cuts to decorate the inside of the card.

All in all this card is definitely outside my box but I like it! What about you? What do you think? Comment to let me know 😊
