Stampin' Up! BackStage 2025

Balmy blue sheer ribbon

Yee Haw 🤠 I'm lucky enought to have attended a Stampin' Up!  Event called BackStage this last week in Las Vegas!  The theme of the event was western with lots of fun decorations featuring stetson's and cowboy boots 😀 Whilst the event was all about learning there was lots of opportunities for fun 😁

One such fun activity that takes place at these events are organised swaps. Swaps are where you create a number of the same . You then swap your cards for someone elses.

I took part in 3 different swaps. 1 of the swaps was the waterfall card I  shared here . Here are the other 2  cards I made for 2 of the swaps.

The first was a wedding/ anniversary theme. This swap required that each card had at least 2 layers and 1 embellishment on them. I used the Wonderful thoughts dies and white cardstock to diecut the hearts as well as the die to cut out the sentiment from the coordinating Wonderful thoughts stamps . The splash of colour comes from the gorgeous Balmy blue sheer ribbon. The almost all white colour palette is such an elegant look for a wedding card don't you agree?

The 2nd swap was for thank you cards. I used the fun Swirled designs stamps to create a fun background.  The colour palette is petal pink, cloud cover and pecan pie. This soft and gentle combination works so well with the bold sentiment of the aptly named Thanking you stamp.

These photos were taken on the balcony at the Red Rock hotel. I'll share the cards I received for the swaps in the next few days.
