Happy Tuesday everyone. Today's card is similar to one that I have made before. This time I used the Christmas Lights, mainly the 2 strings of lights across the card mat in yellow and soft purple then I chopped the panel into 3 and reconstructed it by adding another colour, the gorgeous green of Shaded Spruce behind it. Each of the panels was added to the lower one using Dimensionals to add height. I cut the tree twice, once in the green and the other, just the whole tree in yellow and popped it directly behind it to accentuate the 'lights' on the tree. Looking at it now, I think it needs a yellow gem on the top of the tree to complete it, so I will be adding that very shortly. Once again, I used the Brightest Glow stamps for the sentiments. It is a very simple card to replicate and use for all sorts of occasion.

Make It Simple Monday - #simplestamping - Nature's Prints
Hello again, it seems that I was only posting a few days ago and here I am a week later posting again! This week I have decided to play with Nature's Prints stamp set, the beautiful Designer Series Papers and Fern, a new coordination embossing folder. Anyway, today being #simplestamping day I have made the quickest cards ever! In fact, they were so simple I made 5 of them! One in each of the new, gorgeous, In Colours!

Throwback Thursday - Cup of Tea
Have you ever made a card that tends to stick in your mind? Well, this one is one of mine that I always remember. I made this for my son's birthday several years ago and he loved it, so I guess that's why I often go back and re-make it. Today though, I have used the Tea Boutique Designer Series Papers which co-ordinate with the Cup Of Tea stamp set.
Instead of choosing stamped images to make a scene, this time I have used strips of the gorgeous papers which have 12 different designs on them. I am using the Orchid Oasis card base which is 14.85cm by 14.85cm or 6" by 6". I embossed a white mat with the Bouquet of Love embossing folder and mounted the paper strips onto card to make them pop. I die-cut one of the cups and stamped my sentiment again using the Orchid Oasis Ink Pad. The dies are called Teacup Dies. The gems are also coordinated with the Cup of Tea Suite and Bundle and are called Glossy Dots Assortments. They are GORGEOUS!

Watercolour Wednesday - Cup of Tea.
Hello again, today's card I really had fun making. I used Cup of Tea again today for this one and also watercolour paper. I did a wet wash across the whole mat in the soft blue of Balmy Blue. Then using 3 different colours each one at a time, I stamped onto a clear block. I dropped several big drops of water and mixed it in with the coloured inks. Loading the water brush up well with the wet ink, I then tapped the brush over my fingers onto the paper to get the spotty effect.
After the 3 colour drops and allowing them to dry, it took a few minutes to dry and once dry I stamped the cups across the mat. I fussy cut them out as they were stamped very close together.
Taking a white card mat, I stamped a few flowers across it in Tahitian Tide and Orchid Oasis inks. I embossed the white mat with Hammered embossing folder. Once I had fussy-cut the cups out I adhered them using Dimensionals (foam shapes) and the sentiment was attached using a piece of the new metallic woven ribbon in Orchid Oasis.
A few sentiments inside and out and the card is complete.
